Speciality courses are designed to provide a safe and fun way to learn new skills, to participate in new activities and to increase ones overall dive knowledge. Enrolling in a specialty course means learning new skills in a supervised environment. The following list of courses are available to you once you have completed your Advanced Open Water training.
The PADI Deep Diver course acquaints divers with the skills, theoretical knowledge, techniques, hazards and enjoyment of deep diving while avoiding the necessity of making "decompression stops"prior to surfacing. Upon completion of this course the student will be able to plan, organize and make no decompression dives between the depths of 60 and 130 feet. This course emphasizes experience, fun and safety.

The PADI Wreck Diver course offers divers the necessary knowledge, skills and experience required to safely conduct a wreck dive. Historical significance of the wreck, proper preservation and safety, including the use of penetration equipment will be discussed. Nothing beats the thrill and excitement of a wreck dive as the shipwreck comes into view as one descends.

The PADI Search and Recovery course provides the student with the skills required to successfully organize and conduct a search for lost items. Various underwater search patterns as well as when and how to conduct these patterns will be discussed. In addition, the proper use of lift equipment will be examined.

The purpose of the PADI Ice Diver course is to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and excitement of diving under the ice. This course is intended to serve as a safe and supervised introduction to diving under the ice. The goals of this course are to develop the student's practical knowledge of ice diving giving them the ability to explain the planning, organization, procedures and hazards of diving under the ice. In addition, students will become familiar with the use of special equipment, safety lines, signals, communications, line tending and line security techniques. Lastly, the student will be able to engage in ice dives to explore ice environments found within depths and conditions as good as or better than those in which they have been trained.
