We have now provided a place for you to display your favorite photos on our web site.

To get your photos published, we need two JPEG (filename.jpg) image files for each photo. The first image, a thumbnail, should be a maximum of 135 pixels wide by 180 pixels high. The second image should be a maximum of 600 pixels wide x 400 pixels high.

While it is tempting to go for the highest possible resolution on your submissions, we would like to try to keep the file sizes down, so that our visitors don't have to wait too long for your photos to download. Suggested file size maximums are 8K for your thumbnail and 60K for your main photo.

To get reasonable file sizes, try scanning at 72 pixels per inch and use file compression ratios of 50% or more.

Remember, if your photo takes too long to download, the viewer is likely to hit the stop button and never see your work of art.

Feel free to attach the files to an e-mail explaining when and where the shot was taken. You never know, you just might end up on the internet.
