Equipment maintenance is very important when it comes to scuba diving. You can begin to do your part by reading and following the specfic care and warranty instructions provided by the equipment manufacturer. Record serial numbers and maintenance service schedules in your log book for easy reference. Allow only authorized manufacturer technicians to repair your equipment. Remember, to keep manufacturer's warranties valid, you must have your regulator serviced at an authorized repair facility annually. Is your scuba tank current in Hydro and VIP? Scuba tanks must be visually inspected at a minimum of every 12 months, and hydrostatically tested every five years. We are please to announce that the staff at ABC Fire Inc., in North Royalton, Ohio, have obtained PSI (Profession Scuba Inspection) certification and can provide all your scuba cylinder maintenance.
